Rum Soaked Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 basil leaves
  • 4 cups of fresh and ripe mixed fruit cut into bite size pieces when necessary
  • 1 cup white rum or flavored white rum

Equipment & Utensils

  • 4 martini glasses
  • Cocktail forks or toothpicks

Instructions

  • Place one basil leaf inside each martini glass.
  • Carefully fill each martini glass with 1 cup of mixed fruit, making sure to position the basil leaf in the same position in each glass, so that you can see it from the outside of the glass.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of rum on top of fruit.
  • Allow fruit to sit in rum for just two minutes then serve with cocktail forks or toothpicks.
