Soy Ginger Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops 1 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce'
  • 1/2 cup ponzu
  • 3 garlic cloves grated or minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger
  • 1/3 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • mix together soy sauce, ponzu, garlic, ginger, fennel and pepper flakes.
  • Place pork chops in a large sealable plastic bag or bowl.
  • Pour mixed ingredients over pork chops, massaging the chops to ensure they are coated thoroughly.
  • Seal the pork chops up and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 6 hours.
  • Remove chops from fridge and let them sit for 30 minutes to allow them to rise to room temperature.
  • Remove chops and place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Discard excess marinade.
  • Place in preheated oven at 380 and cook for 15-20 minutes or until chops reach a temperature of 145 degrees.
