Cold Brew Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup cold brew concentrate
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1-2 pitted dates
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Place oats in a small bowl and pour 1/2 a cup of milk over them. Stir to make sure all of the oats are moist and allow the milk to soften the oats for approx. 15 minutes.
  • Once the oats have softened, tip them into a blender.
  • Break up the bananas and place them in the blender with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Blend on a low setting until the banana pieces have disappeared and then raise to a higher setting for 30 seconds to get a frothy topping.
  • Divide into two 16 oz glasses and serve immediately.
