Place oats in a small bowl and pour 1/2 a cup of milk over them. Stir to make sure all of the oats are moist and allow the milk to soften the oats for approx. 15 minutes.
Once the oats have softened, tip them into a blender.
Break up the bananas and place them in the blender with the rest of the ingredients.
Blend on a low setting until the banana pieces have disappeared and then raise to a higher setting for 30 seconds to get a frothy topping.
Divide into two 16 oz glasses and serve immediately.
